Unit Improvement Request

Unless otherwise specified in your Lease or License Agreement, NW Flex Space units are rented as-is and any modifications must be approved by NW Flex Space before work commences. Any unauthorized alterations to the space may require tenants or licensees to remove the installation and return the space to the original condition at their expense. In the event that you’d like to request a change to your space, please follow the guidelines below:

Start by submitting to us a scope of your work (below). For instance, if you need an electrical outlet installed to support a new piece of equipment, we will want to know:

• Where the equipment is going to be installed (you can draw a crude map of your space or take a photo) and where you’d like the outlet placed
• Any anticipated externalities of the new equipment (noise, dust, etc.)
• Information on the new equipment (volts, amps, etc.)

Once received, we will review your plan and either:

• Approve the work to be performed by a NW Flex Space maintenance tech and provide an estimated cost and date the work can be performed
• Authorize you to receive a bid from a licensed and insured contractor of your choosing, who will then be required to submit their own scope of work and their insurance to us for approval before work can commence
• Request more information, either from you or your contractor
• Deny the project
